A self-proclaimed sorcerer tells how to investigate ghosts, demons, spirits and other beings such as werewolves and vampires, most of which he considers to be related to spirits, at least as far as the mechanisms they use to operate their powers.
Daimonic Reality: A Field Guide to the Otherworld by Patrick Harpur. This ground-breaking book is famous for its ability to turn skeptics into believers. It concentrates on some of the weirder ghostly creatures, arguing that Bigfoot and Men in Black are actually spirits from some otherworld of demons and fairies. This book claims to explain ghosts, spirits, telepathy, clairvoyance, auras and other paranormal phenomenon as naturally resulting from certain aspects of subatomic physics. How to Be a Ghost Hunter by Richard H. Southall. Written by an investigator with fifteen years of experience, this book goes into all the details of how to investigate hauntings, decide what type of spirit you are dealing with, and set up paranormal research organizations.

She also gives instructions for recording ghost voices and conducting investigations. How to Photograph the Paranormal by Leonore Sweet. How to Hunt Ghosts: A Practical Guide by Joshua P. Warren. A strictly scientific ghost hunter explains his theory of ghosts, namely that ghosts are left over electro-magnetic fields. He also goes deeply into how to study ghosts according to science. Talking to the Dead: Kate and Maggie Fox and the Rise of Spiritualism by Barbara Weisberg. This book recounts the true story of the Fox sisters, without trying to prove whether they were frauds or not. In the nineteenth century, the Fox sisters spawned a popular movement called Spiritualism by talking to a ghost.
